Gli uffici di progettazione Cultilite in Inghilterra si sono impegnati ad analizzare e testare le lampade dei competitori, al fine di raccogliere tutte le informazioni necessarie alla realizzazione di lampade affidabili, durevoli nel tempo e altamente performanti.

I nuovi Led Antares di Cultilite sono la vera rivoluzione in fatto di illuminazione per coltivazioni. Combinano la potenza di due tipi di Led, i COB e i diodi. Ogni modulo è composto da un COB da 66w centrale circondato da 8 diodi da 3w l’uno.

La particolarità di questo Led che lo rende unico nel suo genere, è il COB, che ha un doppio spettro, infatti è possibile passare dallo spettro di luce vegetativa a quello da fioritura con i due pulsanti presenti nella parte superiore del Led.

Utilizzando tutti e due gli spettri di luce insieme si va dai 3000K fino ai 6000K garantendo alle piante una luce che permette uno sviluppo completo e non solo di certe parti.

Un’altra novità è la lente del COB, che è di 105° (la perfetta via di mezzo tra quelle a 90° e 120°, le più diffuse in commercio). In questo modo il fascio di luce è più concentrato dove serve e non crea dispersioni.

Per esempio, il Led Antares 360 è perfetto per uno spazio di 1m2, massimo 1,10m2 e in questo spazio la quantità di lumens è altissima senza disperdere luce sui lati dove non serve, e in più permette una penetrazione profonda in modo tale da raggiungere tutte le parti della pianta.

I vantaggi dei Led Cultilite sono:

– Chip americani Bridgelux di alta qualità: il primo disagio che i growers convertitisi all’utilizzo dei pannelli a LED si trovano a fronteggiare, è quello relativo all’eccessiva sensibilità al calore dei diodi cinesi di bassa qualità comunemente utilizzati per la realizzazione dei LED per la coltivazione indoor: grazie alla cooperazione tra Cultilite e diversi laboratori di ricerca con sede in California, è stato possibile studiare e testare sul campo i migliori diodi presenti sul mercato: i più adatti allo scopo si sono rivelati i diodi di produzione americana “Bridgelux”, chip di alta qualità e resistenti a temperature molto elevate (fino a 150°C).

– Dissipatore di calore in rame: oltre all’utilizzo di componenti di qualità superiore, l’intero sistema di raffreddamento dei pannelli è stato riprogettato al fine di evitare ogni possibile problema di overheating: il comune dissipatore di calore in semplice alluminio si è infatti rivelato insufficiente per condurre efficacemente il calore generato ed è stato sostituito da speciali dissipatori realizzati in rame, notoriamente uno dei materiali più efficaci nella conduzione del calore.

– Sistema di raffreddamento rivisto ed ottimizzato: anche la struttura interna del pannello è stata rivista ed ottimizzata: grazie a speciali accorgimenti, è stato possibile creare spot contenenti 25 diodi l’uno per realizzare pannelli più potenti, ma di dimensioni notevolmente ridotte! Il minore ingombro si rivela essere un vantaggio per i coltivatori, che possono utilizzare questi pannelli Led anche in ambienti di piccole e piccolissime dimensioni.

I nuovi LED Cultilite sono disponibili nelle versioni da 90w, 180w, 360w e 540w e possono essere connessi l’un l’altro attraverso la speciale presa universale presente sul retro del case.

The Cultilite design offices in England have undertaken to analyze and test the lamps of competitors, in order to gather all the information necessary for the realization of reliable, durable and high performance lamps.

The new Antares LEDs by Cultilite are the real revolution in lighting for crops. They combine the power of two types of LEDs, the COBs and the diodes. Each module is composed of a central 66w COB surrounded by 8 3w diodes each.

The particularity of this Led that makes it unique in its kind, is the COB, which has a double spectrum, in fact it is possible to pass from the vegetative light spectrum to the flowering one with the two buttons present in the upper part of the Led.

Using both light spectra together ranges from 3000K up to 6000K, guaranteeing plants a light that allows complete development and not just certain parts.

Another novelty is the COB lens, which is 105 ° (the perfect middle ground between those at 90 ° and 120 °, the most widespread on the market). In this way the light beam is more concentrated where it is needed and does not create dispersions.

For example, the Antares 360 Led is perfect for a space of 1m2, maximum 1,10m2 and in this space the quantity of lumens is very high without losing light on the sides where it is not needed, and in addition it allows a deep penetration in such a way as to reach all parts of the plant.

Features:

– high quality American diodes Bridgelux: the first problem that the growers who start to use LED panels instead of HPS lamps are forced to face is the high heat sensibility of the Chinese low quality diodes commonly used to create LEDs dedicated to the indoor growing: thanks to the cooperation we keep up from years with different research laboratories located in California, we have been able to study and test on ground the best diodes present in the market; the most relevant resulted to be the American diodes “Bridgelux”, high quality chip resistant to high temperatures (up to 150°C).

– improved cooling system: beside the use of better quality components, we decided to redesign the entire cooling system to avoid every possible risk of overheating: the common aluminum heat sink resulted insufficient to conduct the heat generated by the lamp and was replaced with special sink of our production realized in copper, notoriously one of the best material able lead the heat.

– more power and less volume: also the internal structure of the panels has been revised and optimized: thanks to special tricks, we were able to create spots containing 25 diodes each, to make the panels more powerful, but reducing its dimention… this is an advantage for retailers, that will see the transport charges reduced, and for the end users, that can use our panels also in small, or very small, settings.

– modular lighting: another innovation concerns the modular lighting mode: we’ve introduced the possibility to turn on half of panel or the entire panel making the grower able to increase or decrease the light emitted, tuning on the plants’ needs based on the stage of growth.

Basically, this point means lower energy consumption and, as consequence, lower cost charged to the grower.

Cultilite’s new LEDs can be connected one to each other through the universal plug placed on the back of the case and each module is provided with a dedicated power device: this makes the repair easier and quicker.
